From Vienna via the A2 southern motorway and the S6 Semmering expressway to the Kindberg exit. Here through the Stanzertal on the Schanzsattel state road L114 to Fischbach. From Graz via the Weizer federal road B72 to Birkfeld and from here via the Schanzsattel state road L114 to Fischbach. From Linz/Salzburg/Munich via the Pyhrnautobahn A9 and the Semmering expressway S6 to the Kindberg exit. Continue as above. Further information: www.at.map24.com

We start at the village square in Fischbach and walk past the mini golf course and swimming pond
along the stream to Angerkarl
There we turn left onto the gravel roadand continue out of the valley.

We walk past the stream to Angerkarl.
Here we turn left onto trail no. 12 towards Waisenegg-Birkfeld.
We can take a break at the “Hammerlschmied” snack bar.
After Hammerlschmied, we turn right at the second intersection and follow the

markings that take us next to the Waisenbach stream to Birkfeld. From there, we walk a short distance on a paved road and cross an intersection.

We follow the red and white markings and turn right at the next fork.
From there, we continue at a leisurely pace until we finally reach Birkfeld.

A trip to the Edelseer Alm by the famous musicians Die Edelseer is well worth seeing!
