Near Liezen in Styria, a mighty complex rises on a steep rock: Strechau Castle. It has everything to offer that you would expect from a castle, including legends and ghostly apparitions and a fine circular hiking trail with some themed panels and a miracle fountain.

This leads after the traffic circle in Liezen into the B320 Ennstal Bundesstraße direction Schladming!

At the 2 crossing before the shopping center left direction Lassing.

In Lassing always straight ahead following the signs to the Moar in the Feichtn and the parking lot.

Immediately after the parking lot turn left into the forest. Here you walk for a few minutes along boards and plants to the castle.

After visiting the castle, go down a small path opposite. At the first possibility turn left following the signs.

After the sharp left turn where there is a bench (here is the exit of a via ferrata) keep left again at the next possibility.

After a while there is the possibility to go right in about 10min. to the "Heiligen Bründl".

After we are back again we go always keeping left until we come shortly before the Moar in the Feichtn on the road.

Here left and back to the parking lot.
