Loser theme trail: Stubborn Salzkammergut
One of the new themed trails on the Loser in Altaussee provides interesting facts about life, tradition, history and mentality in the Salzkammergut.
Together, historian Dr Helmut Kalss and Kulturfux, Michaela Fuchs, have created a fantastic themed trail on the Loser with information boards and an audio guide in three languages.
The two-hour hike from the mountain station of the Loser panoramic cable car via the Bräuningalm to the Gschwandsattel provides deeper insights into the region and explores the proverbial resistance and linguistic repartee of the Salzkammergut locals.
