The location of our vineyards
In the middle of the sunny hills of southern Styria, guarded by the melodic clatter of the Klapotetz, lies the winery of Rudolf and Michaela Schlögl. With passion Michaela and Rudolf Schlögl cultivate their vineyards in nearby Berhausen.
In these conditions which are ideal by nature, our vines take root particularly deeply. Therefore, our wines are wonderfully characterized by the terroir in the aroma spectrum.

Nature and technology
An ideal climate, fertile, nutrient-rich soils, loving care in the vineyards, excellent cellar technology and lots of experience - these are the ingredients for outstanding wines. Our vineyards in nearby Berghausen have vines in perfect alignment. Our main building in St. Nikolai ob Draßling houses the press house, the spacious wine cellar and our new vinotheque. Come by and taste our wines - with personal advice!
REFINEMENT WITH PASSION
Our wine cellar
We mainly press Welschriesling, Scheurebe, Muskateller, Weißburgunder, Morillon, Traminer and Zweigelt. These are vinified as classic, selection, reserve or barrique. The grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed at the estate. What nature has begun in the vineyard, cellar master Rudolf Schlögl completes with much passion, tact and forward-looking cellar technology. He shapes the diverse aromas of the individual grape varieties with unique know-how and a great deal of experience into single-varietal wines. During their maturation in stainless steel tanks, wooden barrels and French barriques, the noble drops finally reach their full greatness.
