Dorfmuseum Hirschegg
Hirschegg-PackLet yourself be transported into the past! Immerse yourself in peasant life as it was "back in the day."
Displayed are tools, implements, and household items, the famous Hirschegger Loden, a collection of cowbells, as well as skis with leather bindings and much more.
This museum is a treasure trove of rural history! Various agricultural tools and long-lost items from the daily life of the peasantry can be viewed here.
From the "mechanical lathe" to a "horse groom's room," which depicts the harsh life of the horse grooms: a mattress made of dried corn leaves, cushions filled with hay made of linen, and a horsehair blanket as a duvet. Utensils for eating and cooking hang on the wooden wall: a stirring fork, spoon, knife, coffee mug, and a pot; at the foot of the bed hang lederhosen and a jacket.
Viewing possible at any time by phone appointment.
