A summer evening in the countryside, fine jazz music and a good atmosphere - that's ‘Jazz im Grünen’ at Hotel Liebmann on the Laßnitzhöhe. On Saturday, 9 August 2025, the guest park will be transformed into a stage for real live jazz in the Graz Region.
The music takes centre stage: relaxed, rousing and full of energy. If you love jazz, this is the place to be. Around 250 people come every year to enjoy music in the open air - very close to Graz, in the centre of Styria.
The location is also perfect: green meadows, shady trees and a well-kept park create space to relax and listen. Barbecue specialities, fried chicken salad and pastries from the region cater for small or large appetites. Refreshing drinks are available at the bar.
Getting there is easy: Laßnitzhöhe is only 20 minutes from Graz and is easily accessible by bus, train or car. Free parking is available and the site is barrier-free.
‘Jazz im Grünen’ is one of the events in Graz and the surrounding area that combines music, nature and Styrian joie de vivre. Admission and seating are free. A summer evening dedicated to jazz, honest, cosy and full of sound.
