Advent market in the monastery

On 23 December from 9:00 to 16:00, the library of the traditional Franciscan monastery Maria Lankowitz (Styria) will host a lovingly designed Advent market. The historic walls, surrounded by centuries-old frescoes and baroque passageways, create a peaceful atmosphere - far away from the hustle and bustle.

In the cosy monastery library, local vendors offer homemade products: handmade candles, Christmas decorations, regional ointments and creams from the monastery garden as well as sweet biscuits from the monastery's own production. This is accompanied by atmospheric punch - perfect for warming up while browsing. Incidentally, there are also little gift ideas on offer: Books, handicrafts and culinary delights from Styria - ideal for hosts or Christmas favourites.

This Advent market offers a fine blend of tranquillity, regional charm and a Christmassy atmosphere - without the hustle and bustle. An ideal opportunity for a relaxing morning just before Christmas. The Graz Region once again demonstrates how enjoyment, tradition and locality come together harmoniously during the Advent season.
