Music and cabaret with Andreas Schlintl
Andreas discovered his love for cabaret in his youth. Back then, in the late 90s, it was people like Alfred Dorfer or Josef Hader who inspired him. His first attempts and stage experiences took place at the youth theater of Europajugend. With the play "Der Meisterboxer," in which Andreas got the lead role, they even went on a tour in Germany.
At some point, however, music developed into a major passion, and in 2008 he took the step to becoming a professional musician. With the completion of the book "Auf dem Weg zu mir" by Schlintl and the consideration of how and in what context it should be presented, the decision to pursue cabaret was made. This was further supported by his friend and best man, Harald. The first cabaret program, which bears the same name as the book, tells stories from life and the "ME" that everyone carries inside. "As children, we have big dreams and wishes, but most of the time these are shattered by our environment and school, so that as adults we can hardly remember them."
Andreas wraps up partly his own stories, such as one about a blockage as an apprentice plumber or the sensitive topic of vacuuming in relationships with vulnerable stories. When the laughter muscles need a break, he picks up the guitar and musically reminds us that we are becoming more and more a number.
