Spital am SemmeringAdvent magic at the highest Christmas market in Styria
Reflective and musical, we will prepare for the Christmas celebration together in December. We celebrate this special time in a magical atmosphere with a Christkindl post office, crafts, and ice art carving.
11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
The mountain station Weißenelf transforms again into a Christmas village for young and old. At the highest Christkindl market in Styria, you can expect sparkling lights, live music, culinary delights, artistic cap knitting, bobbin lace, steel art, storytellers, ice artists, Anders°Art elf workshop, and much more.
If you want to participate in Advent without winter sports equipment, you can enjoy particularly affordable ascent and descent this year. Adults only pay € 10,- and children € 5.00 for the Stuhleck and Weißenelf cable cars, directly to the Advent market! For children born in 2019 and younger, the lift ride is free when accompanied by an adult.
Skis enthusiasts can look forward to an illuminated 5 km long descent (torch descent) into the valley. No lift operation after 8 PM.
After 4:30 PM, the ascent and descent is only possible from/to the middle station. It’s best to park at parking lot 2 (P2).
