Neuberg an der MürzA forest full of enchanting figures and stories
It is probably, alongside the Neuberger Culture Days, the most well-known event in the upper Mürztal and beyond - the Styrian Magic Forest. More than 50 amateur actors from the region take our visitors into a world of magic and fairy tales along the easily accessible circular hiking trail, in the face of the magnificent landscape at the foot of the Schneealm.
Protection from Goblins and Forest Spirits
Of course, special amulets with magical powers, which are handed out to all children at the beginning of the hike, protect them from the funny pranks of goblins and other mischief.
Daily from 9 AM to 4 PM, enchanting mythical creatures, wise kings, even wiser farmers, forest women, and talking animals will cast a spell on our visitors.

The parking spaces on site will be signposted.
A tour through the Magic Forest takes about 2 hours, and a new visitor group starts every 20 minutes.
If the event has to be canceled due to heavy rain or thunderstorms, already sold tickets (on-site or via oeticket.com) cannot be refunded.
Thanks to the expansion of public transport connections throughout the nature park, arrival and departure by bus (Regio bus line 189) and train via Mürzzuschlag and Neuberg an der Mürz is easily possible on both event days. We encourage all visitors to use these extended bus connections to Neuberg an der Mürz to travel to the Styrian Magic Forest in an environmentally friendly, resource-saving, and stress-free manner.
