Leoben railway station is just a few minutes' walk from the Montanuniversität Leoben and the city centre. Almost 300 bicycle parking spaces and excellent connections to the bus network in and around Leoben make excursions possible without a car.

A ‘Kiss & Ride’ zone for dropping off and picking up passengers is located directly in front of the station concourse, as are several taxi ranks. During day trips, the car can be parked in the multi-storey car park with over 300 parking spaces. There are also car-sharing parking spaces.
