The "Aquafarm Temmel" has been growing the "Liesingtaler Edelwels" since March 2021. This fish is characterized by its virtually bone-free and firm flesh, making it very versatile in the culinary field. Due to the rearing in our aquaponics system, the use of medication is excluded, and the significant problem of microplastics is completely eliminated.
The fresh side of the "Liesingtaler Edelwels" is juicy, compact, and especially bone-free. has low fat and high protein content. is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins (D and B12), minerals, and selenium. is perfect for frying, baking, grilling, in stir-fries, curries, and soups. is mild in taste and doesn't "smell" during preparation. is free from antibiotics and microplastics. can be wonderfully frozen.
The smoked side of the "Liesingtaler Edelwels" is the refined version of the fresh fish. gains a unique flavor and special texture through the smoking process. tastes pleasantly smoky and juicy. is suitable as an appetizer, in salads, in soups, or simply for snacking.
The spread from the "Liesingtaler Edelwels" is a combination of smoked fish and selected ingredients (no waste utilization). is suitable as a spread for bread or as a dip for snacks or appetizers. is available in a jar to conserve resources (we gladly take the jars back)
